13 Feb Increase in traffic through Dover
In a sign that the recession is over, the Port of Dover has reported a 13% rise in freight vehicles passing through the port in 2013. More than 2.2m vehicles were handled, making 2013 the strongest year since 2009.
As demand increases, spare capacity for back haul freight will be reduced and this in turn could start to put upward pressure on prices in 2014.
Supplychain21 continues to use its network of back haul providers to resist any price increases and keep costs down for customers. If you would like us to help use our network to reduce your haulage costs, please contact us at mail@supplychain21.com or on 01858 451781
